We are aware that some of you may have questions about coronavirus (COVID-19) – a new type of respiratory virus – that has been in the press recently. We are a UK show with predominantly UK visitors so view any risk as small. However, as a responsible organiser we are following the advice from the World Health Organisation closely as well as that of local government and Public Health England. We encourage all sta, event teams, exhibitors and visitors to follow the recommended medical advice of ‘Catch It. Bin It. Kill It.’ Which is to maintain good hand, respiratory and personal hygiene – please refer to the guidance posters that will be up around the East of England Showground. You will also see hand sanitizers throughout the venue for your use. There are things you can do to help stop germs like novel coronavirus spreading: • Always carry tissues with you and use them to catch your cough or sneeze. Then bin the tissue, and wash your hands preferably with hot water and soap, or use a **sanitiser gel. • Wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after using public transport. • Use a **sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available. • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands. • Avoid close contact with people who are unwell. We will continue to monitor and follow the PHE and government guidelines and keep all our visitors, exhibitors and speakers informed of any new developments.
